Offered is a magnificent 1940 Packard 160 Station Wagon.
(VIN 1372-3281 / Engine No. C505313F)
This exceptional one-of-a-kind automobile was owned by Bill Harrah and hand-built for him by the Harrah's Car Collection Shop in Reno, Nevada. The carefully crafted Packard was reportedly one of Bill Harrah's favorite classics. While many Auto Enthusiasts and Collectors have either heard or read about the famous Packard Super 8 '160' Woodie over the years, few have ever seen it. With the odometer reading just 6,745 miles since restoration, this car is undeniably an outstanding Packard collectible.
I am advised that 1940 Packards sales, for Packards Luxury, Senior Models - the Super Eight '160' and Custom '180' accounted for just 7,562 units, including all special ordered: Custom Bodied Limousines, Formal Sedans, Town Cars, Darrins and Station Wagons. Today these very special, Super Eight Packards are very rare and coveted in car collections. This exceptional example can now be yours.

Incredible genuine leather interior upholstery, carpets, woodgraining and interior appointments. Minor flaws: The driver's side running board rubber has split due to age on the top to the rear of the panel which will need attention. (See photo.) There is also a very light stain or imperfection visible on the vinyl roof on the driver's side above the rear wheel well. (Visible in photo number two.) All-in-all, this is an incredible Packard.
